Audio Masterclass Professional Course in Music Production Techniques

Enrolling now. Course opens Monday November 19.

The Audio Masterclass Professional Course in Music Production Techniques

This course follows on from the Audio Masterclass Music Production and Sound Engineering Course giving the student further knowledge, skills and experience. It is not essential to have completed the Music Production and Sound Engineering Course but students must have an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience.

The course adds twelve further practical assignment projects covering topics from drums, through acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitar, vocals, background vocals, keyboard and synthesizer arrangement, production and recording.

The practical assignment project works through the imitation of sections of recordings that have had great commercial success. The student will first imitate a short but challenging section of the example recording, then create their own self-composed and arranged recording in a similar style.

Musical experience

It is important to stress that this is a course in music production techniques, so it is essential to have at least basic musical knowledge and skills. It will be necessary to be able to perform on both keyboard and guitar to a basic level, or have access to suitable performers.

This course is not suitable for beginners, nor anyone whose interest in audio is only slight, nor anyone who does not want their 'comfort zone' to be significantly challenged.

This is a wide ranging, in-depth course covering a wide range of techniques and due consideration should be given to the significant commitment enrollment presents.
